NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- There was a time when our stock market was held hostage by other markets around the globe, but that time is over, Jim Cramer announced to his "Mad Money" TV show viewers Thursday as he opined on a lackluster trading day on Wall Street.

Cramer explained the U.S. now has the strongest markets on Earth, which means that negative news like that out of Japan today, can simply be shrugged off as noise. The U.S. is far from having the strongest economy thanks to a lack of hiring, but no one can question the strength of the stocks that are linked to terrific companies that are outperforming expectations daily. When a stock like Hewlett-Packard can deliver a quarter that no one saw coming, it's hard to ignore the momentum.

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- The Federal Reserve has worked its magic, but now there are other forces at work, Jim Cramer told his "Mad Money" TV show viewers Wednesday as he examined just how much the Fed really matters to the markets at this point in the recovery.

Cramer said the speculation over what the Fed may or may not do next and when certainly captures a lot of headlines and added to the confusion of today's trading in particular. He also acknowledged that continued low interest rates are literally forcing those who manage money to abandon bonds and invest in high paying dividend stocks instead.

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- Money talks and statistics walk, Jim Cramer proclaimed on "Mad Money" Tuesday.

He sounded off against those investors who rely solely on month-old government surveys to make their investment decisions. "Cramer don't play that," he continued, offering Home Depot as the perfect example of why looking in the rear-view mirror is no way to invest.

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- We want dividends from stocks, not coupons from bonds, Jim Cramer told his "Mad Money" TV show viewers Monday as he offered investment advice for this week's Powerball lottery winner and the founder of Tumblr, who also received a big payday courtesy of Yahoo! .

Cramer explained that his usual advice for the super-rich is that "you only need to get rich once," thus sticking with safe investments makes the most sense. That's why his typical portfolio would include foreign investments, along with gold, high-end real estate and even paintings, with very little invested in risky equities. For the moderately rich, equities are also too risky, and Cramer said he used to recommend U.S. Treasury bonds along with corporate and municipal bonds.

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- As long as earnings continue to exceed expectations, this market won't see a meaningful pullback, Jim Cramer told his "Mad Money" TV show viewers Friday as he laid out his game plan for next week's trading.

Cramer said Monday he'll be watching Campbell's Soup , which is now overvalued against its historical average. He said investors need to pay attention to this stock as a bellwether for the rest of its sector, and he's not betting on a strong quarter or a strong reaction. Cramer said he's also looking for the IPOs of Ply Gem and ChannelAdvisor, both worth the investment.

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- The bears may be proclaiming the sky is falling, but if you examine when the sky actually did fall you'll find that we're nowhere near those dangerous levels, Jim Cramer said on "Mad Money" Thursday.

Cramer said the markets have seen parabolic moves in the past, such as the period between 1999 and early 2000. Back then, the Nasdaq rallied nearly 500 points per month. But in recent months, the Nasdaq has only rallied 200 points per month.

NEW YORK (TheStreet) -- It was the best of times and the worst of times, Jim Cramer told "Mad Money" viewers Wednesday as he compared today's divergence of Apple , a stock he owns for his charitable trust, Action Alerts PLUS, and Google .

Cramer said today's rally in Google and simultaneous decline in Apple should not come as a surprise to investors, as Google is already up 29% for 2013 while Apple has fallen 19%. He said the markets are concerned with what they're always concerned with -- valuing a company's future earnings.
